If you have an old crockpot gathering dust in the back of the closet, it’s time to dust it off and get excited about slow cooking again. Perhaps you have used the slow cooker once or twice to make classic slow cooker recipes like soup or casserole, but did you know that you can make desserts in the crockpot, too?

You can do all kinds of desserts in it, in fact, including rice pudding, bread pudding, and cobbler recipes and even copy the cake. Dump cake could not have an attractive name, but it’s amazing winning formula because it only includes “dumping” all the ingredients in a slow cooker, give them a stir and leave the mixture to cook by itself all day. The end result is a delicious and perfectly flavored dessert that is so easy.
